Mummy has signed me up for December Holiday program. I will be attending lessons from 10-14th December at Zoo-Phonics school in Siglap, 930am – 11am. The theme for the program is “My world of Eric Carle”. There will be storytime, art and craft, drama, music, puppetry, creative movement, games/puzzles and sensorial hands-on activities.

Hope I will have fun there. The only concern that Mummy has is how do we go there from our house?

Recently, don’t know what happen to me.

First I had running nose, then cough and phlegm. I took almost 1 whole week to recover, and just when I had recovered from the flu, I got fever! My fever lasted for about 3 days, then finally subsided yesterday. But today, I have rashes all over my body! Mummy brought me to see a Paediatrician, and she said I have false measles! Now my whole face, tummy, and back are covered with rashes! The Paediatrician has mentioned that the rashes will become worse tomorrow!

Then also, I hit my chin when playing on Saturday. You see the bruises I have under my chin? Now, I am not a handsome boy anymore!

Please let me be healthy and strong everyday!

This is the homework I have to do. I am supposed to use a pair of scissors to cut out the shapes of the carrot, and color them. I will need to hand in this to the teacher tomorrow when I go for Shichida lesson.

Today, the Psychologist who assessed me yesterday called Daddy up.

The Psychologist told him about the IQ test I took and mentioned I did well and assure him there’s nothing to worry about. I guess she must love me so much cos I was constantly giving her my sweet smiles and talking to her with my talkative nature! Haha…

However, my colors were not too good as I can only recognize orange but she said that’s fine being just 2 years old.

I wonder if I got a chance to be gifted and grow up to contribute to this lovely world! Like daddy and mummy always tell me, they would like me to be a doctor in future to save lotsa of people! And I working toward it! Haha..

Anyway, Daddy and Mummy said to me that as long as I am healthy and strong, and can study like the rest of the children, that will be already very good, gifted or not, doesn’t matter. Most importantly, I can grow up well!

What do you think? Do I look like a gifted child? haha!

I did an IQ test today. All premature babies need to be assessed on that. Daddy and Mummy couldn’t accompany me due to work, so eventually, Gong Gong and MaMa went with me.
Luckily, I did well in the test, scoring quite good. The nurse even told Gong Gong and MaMa to “hao hao zai pei wo”. haha.
However, my recognition of colors, doing puzzle, and drawing vertical and horizontal straight lines are not good, so got to be improved on.
After the IQ test, we went home, and forgot that actually we need to go to see Dr Argawal at Child development Unit, opps!
