Bubbles
Mummy bought a gun that can shoot bubbles for me. Mummy saw from Alena’s website that Alena was having so much fun with the bubbles, and she recalled there was once at the departmental store, I saw a lady blowing bubbles at the children, and was so amazed that I refused to move away. When daddy and mummy forced me to leave with them, I was making so much noise saying “kan chui bubbles”, so eventually mummy decided to buy one for me yesterday.
I was rather afraid to go near the bubbles initially, but after a while, I dared to go near them, and “catch” those bubbles. It was rather fun.
Mid Autumn festival at Chinese Garden
We went to the Mid Autumn at Chinese Garden. We only had the time to go there after the festival was over, so when we went there, there were not many people. We could take our time to stroll through, and see the lanterns displayed.
We went there quite early, around 5 plus to avoid traffic jam and crowds. The theme for this year is “The magical ocean”. Actually, Daddy and Mummy think that this is not a very good theme, as there is nothing special about it. Mummy told me there was one year, the theme was “Disney Fantasy”, and the lanterns displayed were “Hello Kitty”, “Micky Mouse” etc, all the Disney characters. They were very nice and adorable. It was much better.
Anyway, for this year, what we like most is the “wishing trees”. We wrote our wishes on a ribbon that had gold coins attached to both sides, and threw it up to the trees. Daddy and Mummy spend some time trying to throw the ribbon up, but it kept falling down. Haha. I told them to “diu gao gao, diu gao gao”. Finally, Mummy managed to get it up in the tree, but it was not very high though.
Overall, this year lanterns displayed at Chinese Garden were not that great.
During the long drive to Chinese Garden, I was holding my bus sleeping.

I am going school!
Daddy and Mummy spend some time going around the playgroups in Ang Mo Kio nearby Gong Gong’s place. They have 4 choices actually. Eventually, they chose Blk 444 Tots House. I will be starting school in January next year, and it will be a 2 hours program 9am – 11am from Monday to Friday. It is a small place with only 2 teachers and around 15 students. When we went there, they were busy preparing for Children’s day concert item which they are going to put up tomorrow at the nearby basketball court. The children will be performing a dance, it looks fun! Hope next year, I have the chance to perform too!
Lantern festival celebration
Yesterday was lantern festival. Daddy, mummy and me had a feast at home. We ordered canadian pizza, and sat down to eat together. But I was only allowed to eat mashed potato.
After that, daddy and mummy brought me downstairs to take lantern, and played with sparkles. I don’t really like to take lantern because I find it too heavy, and a hassle. So in the end, daddy and mummy took it for me. But I had fun holding to the sparkle, and watching the smoke and light.
It was beautiful.
After that, we went back home and had some mooncakes. Yesterday was the first time I had a taste of mooncakes. Yummy!
